Adorable Tulips & Family Utah Photographer

I have had many people ask to see our Tulip pics, so I am sitting at the studio at 11 p.m. and blogging a few.  We did many families at the Tulip Festival during the past few weeks--so don't feel bad if I didn't select yours--too many beautiful ones to choose from.  

This annual event has been very popular for grandmas and mommies who has little ones.  I have to say that my favorite flower has to be the tulips and when I am at Thanksgiving Point, I am amazed at how beautiful they really are.

So, happy days are ahead--many fun spring portraits are planned already.

We would love you all to stop by during the open house this Thursday & Friday from 10 a.m-8 p.m.  We are giving away a ton of prizes!!!!!!!  We are giving away purses, gift certificate, shabby chic frames (yes, the one with polkas dots girls!)  You have to stop in to be eligible for the drawings.  It is also Gardner Village's friends and family sale this weekend, so it should be well worth the trip!

Ok-what can I say but AMAZING!!!  Cute little MH's mom came to us to get some funky high school senior pictures of her adorable daughter.  She didn't want "boring" senior pics--and, oh no, this wasn't boring.  She had amazing outfits to choose from with shoes and jewelry to match!  (well, the jewelry did go missing for a minute, thank goodness mom found it).  I can't wait for you  to see what the rest looks like!

What a beautiful day we had on Saturday!!  We spent the day taking pics at Thanksgiving Point's Tulip Festival.  Gorgeous.  Why can't that be my backyard?  Tulips and daffodils everywhere with a million and one gardeners?!  

So, it isn't my backyard, but we loved it.  The families and children were dressed to the nine and the weather cooperated great with us.  I will post here in the next day or so a bunch of the pics that we did.  

But, I had to just post these few today.  Last year we had a sweet little one do her baptism pictures during Tip Toe through the Tulips.  This year, again, we had a sweet little girl.  Mom even bought the dress from one of my favorite children's websites--www.chasing-fireflies.com.   Anyway, these pics are my favorites of the shoot--so timeless.  I love the one with her shoe coming off--it shows the youthfulness of her.

Every year Highlite Photography is pleased to be the official photographer for the local Miss South Jordan Pageant. This year is especially exciting as it is the Sesquicentennial Celebration for the city. So....who is it going to be????

Blow me away!  That is what I have to say about N&J!  They were stunning to say the least!  So, we headed out this weekend to do their bridals and also a prewedding shoot.  The lighting couldn't have been better and they couldn't have been any cuter!  But, those big rain clouds you see in some of the pictures???  Yes, they totally soaked us--but, I have to say--It was worth it!
