Amazingness......

I know it had been raining a lot lately but this is why you never cancel even when you think it is going to rain!  You can't get a more beautiful picture!  This family stuck right through this shoot even though we saw some scary storm clouds approaching.  Why do I love these pictures so much!?  Cute family, cute clothes, great light, awesome clouds and great talent.  What more do you need!?

it is Wildflower season

Highlite Photography is now booking for their Wildflower Sessions on Saturday, July 25th & Saturday, August 1st.  

I must add a little note here--this is one of my all time FAVORITE events that we do.  I photographed our girls there a few years ago and enjoy that picture everytime I see it.  

The event is held up at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon during the short burst of wildflowers.  Call now to book your session--a have just a few left on each day!

Grandpa's Old Truck

Ok-ok--please let me explain--look very closely at the grandkid picture.  I tried to pose them with as a heart!  I didn't tell grandma and grandpa what I was up too--but, I think it worked!  Tell me what you think?!

Marc and I thoroughly enjoy families--I think I find no greater joy than seeing families together happy, cute and well dressed.  So, grandma and grandpa wanted a cute picture of them and their grandchildren--I thought of this place and knew it had to be!  Can you believe that there is NO kids headswaps in this picture??!!  I think, honestly, it comes from being the great family that was photographed, and yes, it too is our absolute love and passion for what we do.  Marc takes off running and tickling the kids while one of us captures the moment.  What a treasure.

I had to include the picture of grandpa and grandma walking--I think he was a bit twitterpatted by his cute wife!!!

Sassy Babies are finally Here!

Bouncies in Your Pants

Today Selena and I were out doing a shoot with the cutest little kids--I was talking to the little boy and he was getting a little bit wiggly. I said to him, "do you have bouncies in your pants?" Mom and Selena both were laughing at me. So, today, Selena keeps saying "bouncies in your pants!"

I had to blog this "Field of Dreams" that we have a Gardner Village. Right now the grass is so beautiful and tall. June's rain has done some good for us!!! We have had a lot of clients requesting the grassy look for their Village Special--so, I am blogging a few that we have done out there this week. We are booked this week for Village Specials--we have a couple openings next Friday between 2-8pm if you are interested!

Highlite Photography is so thrilled to be teamed up with Persnickety Clothing, a little girls online clothing boutique.  Corinne is absolutely a force to be reckoned with when it comes to clothes and her designs.

Highlite luvs these yummie girls.  wonder what everyone downtown thought when they saw this mass amount of girls, parents, clothes, bows and photographers. CRAZY.

so sorry for long blog.  Marc told me not to blog this many.  I told him it was fine.  you know--hubby and hunny working together is so fun!

What a fun craze this urban stuff is...

the other day we went and did some fun urban kid shoots--luvin' that!

first family was doing the session for Father's Day--what a fun thing for dad

the other boys just needed some fun pics done (have to say that are some of the cutest boys I have ever seen)
